Independent Day:Nigerians Are we independent or Dependent?

Nigeria became a British protectorate in 1901. Colonization lasted until October 1st 1960, when an independence movement succeeded in gaining Nigeria its independence. The action then brings an unforgettable Holiday to all Nigerians and we celebrate the day in Nigeria as "Annual Anniversary" but the question is "Are we dependent or independent"?. Nigerian are suffering from poor economy, Youths are crying for unemployment, Poverty everywhere, Education Sector is lacking.... Oh God Help Nigeria.

Although the economy has to depend on some natural resources in order to survive but how are we managing the resources well? Hope we have not depends on one more than others? The oil sector have received more attention than other sector in the economy to the extent that Nigeria Import "Tooth pick" and other product that is in our vicinity.

Individuals are you independent? Family Head are you independent? Local rulers are you independent? Our Leaders are you independents?. Nigerians Depend majorly on our leaders and Our Leaders Depends on resources that are not well manage. The fact is that we all have to be independent in  our various community in order for us to clearly define the relationship between Independent and democracy (Government of the people by the people and for the people).

Every human has four endowment- Self awareness , conscience, independent will and creative imagination . These gives us the ultimate human freedom.... The power to choose , to respond, to change- Stephen Covey. The best teamwork comes from men who are working independently towards one goal in unison- james Cash.

For Nigeria to be independent every citizen have to be independent, active and ready to render service to humanity which is the best work of life. Be a consulted citizen and Let help our leaders to achieve better.
