Impact of employee performance management in the achievement of organizational goal (Study Of Unilever)

ABSTRACT

This study was carried out to investigate the impact of employee performance management in the achievement of organizational goal with special reference to Unilever Nigeria Plc. Objectives of the study are to examine the relationship between employee performance management and achievement of organization goal, to find out whether the employee appraisal system of Unilever is achieving the organization objectives and to find out how Unilever employee performance management system has been able to identify employees’ strengths and weaknesses towards achievement of organization goal.

 Survey research design was used as data were collected from sample size of two hundred and forty (240) respondents that was selected from the population. Statistical package for social science was used to analyze data collected and it was concluded and recommends that there is significant relationship between employee performance management and achievement of organization goal, Employee appraisal system of Unilever is achieving the organization objectives and Unilever employee performance management system have been able to identify employees’ strengths and weaknesses towards achievement of organization goal
